Add New Node Runbook

This runbook is being written as the process is validated.

Prerequisites

• Node is on LAN with reserved DHCP
• SSH key deployed
• operator user exists with sudo

Steps

1. Add host to inventories/it/hosts.yml
2. Create host_vars/<hostname>.yml
3. Run baseline playbook: ansible-playbook -i inventories/it/hosts.yml playbooks/it/baseline.yml -l <hostname>
4. Run docker playbook if applicable
5. Verify node_exporter is reporting
6. Add to Grafana dashboard
